Re photos showing Rocna 10: "Here's a 22 lb Rocna... and how it fits on the old toy bow rollers... A big advantage of the longer bow roller is keeping the beast on the bow. We use a line tied to the stanchion and the roll bar of the Rocna....The shank does come back a teeny bit aft of the anchor locker doors, but the shackle hole is a short slit, not just a hole, so the connector ends up dropping straight down into the locker with the chain. The Rocna fits just fine. Others may prefer an extended roller. I like the short one because it keeps the weight as far aft as possible and won’t have the same loads trying to bend it and rip it out of the deck. I know the anchor [Rocna 20] is over-sized on the recommendation [Rocna 15], but we are leaving Vancouver for Mexico for a year. I expect I’ll sleep better off the surf line with an over-sized anchor... By the way, I was in Silva Bay Tuesday night. The wind swung 180 degrees and blew 30 knots plus.
